We had a great time at the show, it always has a great vibe and lots of eye candy to check out!

Music City Drum Show 2024

It was great to be back in Nashville for the Music City Drum Show!

We displayed 4 kits in our booth, a Flextuned Maple 14x24, 16x16, 9x13 in a beautiful Whitewash finish, a 20/12/15 WaFarer kit, an Nesting kit with in 18/14/10 sizes with a 3.75x13 Kalamazoo Series snare (all drums nest in the bass drum!), and a Kalamazoo Series Kit, 12x20, 13x15, 8x12 featuring Welch Tuning Systems.

There was a very strong showing from the independent drum builders this year! Welch Tuning Systems, Kings Custom Drums, Craviotto, Canopus, Sonique, Woods, Lucky, Rogers, WFLIII and more!

Some great Vintage drums too! Rogers, Ludwig, Camco, Premier, Slingerland all represented!

Tons of accessories and cymbals too! The Bovid drumheads were awesome, cool new stuff from Tackle, a bit of everything from Drum Supply House, and a number of pedals, cymbals, and microphones as well!

Our home for the weekend, the INDe booth! Featuring a monster Kalamazoo Series/WTS collaboration kit, a couple of our Nesting drum kits, a WaFerer, and lots of snares and hardware.

I thought 2023 was the year of the independent cymbal maker, but I think there were even more this year! Great to see all of the new sounds available. It’s a good time to be a drummer!

PASIC 2023 Show Photos and Review

The PASIC show was amazing as usual this year! It’s always a great time to meet up with INDe family and industry friends. My general impression is that there were fewer vendors this year, but strong attendance. It seems like there were more small independent businesses this year, which is awesome!

This snare was incredible- This is Aaron Latos who worked on the Engineering and Manufacturing of these limited 400th anniversary Zildjian drums. There are some very cool details and manufacturing processes involved in making these cast-bronze snare drums, and they sounded fantastic! Chicago Drum Show 2022 Photos

We had such an amazing experience at the Chicago Drum Show 2022! For those who couldn’t make it out to the show, here are some pictures we took so you can experience what we experienced. This year’s Chicago Drum Show was another really a great showcase for smaller, independent builders like us and was attended by people who are truly passionate about drums and hardware. We always love being able to meet our fans and inform new-comers to INDe about our product line. We not only had a ton of hype over our latest INDe product releases but also over the large variety of Turkish Cymbals we brought to the show. We couldn’t have asked for a better time. PASIC 2021 Photos!

We had such an amazing experience at PASIC 2021! The world wide drum family was finally able to get back together for this year’s PASIC and it was quite successful. We always love being able to meet our fans as well as inform new-comers to INDe about our product line. We not only had a ton of hype over our INDe drums and hardware but also over the large variety of Turkish Cymbals we brought to the show. We couldn’t have asked for a better year at PASIC!

We just got back from the first annual Music City Drum Show this weekend! For those who couldn’t make it out to the show, here are some pictures we took so you can experience what we experienced. It was a great first year for this drum show and it was fantastic to see all of the drum-world fam back together for a great hang! Because a lot of the larger companies didn’t make it out for this first year, it was another really a great showcase for smaller, independent builders like us and was attended by people who are truly passionate about drums and hardware. Independent businesses are the future of the music instrument industry, and small, open-to-the public shows like TCDGS are the how us independent creators should all be spreading the word. Meeting and discussing products directly with musicians is absolutely the best way to understand their needs, and discuss how we can meet them.

Myth busting- Ply shells vs. Stave & Steambent

INDe drums use a unique layup ply construction. We could have used stave or steambent, but we choose ply because it gives us greater control over the thickness and directional stiffness of the shell. Here is a demo that disproves the common narrative that solid is more resonant than ply!
